How do you know if you are pushing yourself Everyday or performing at an average level ?

This can be different for everybody considering what may be a major accomplishment to someone may be just another day to somebody else.

So how do you know if you are living an average life or going to the next level ?

Let’s start with the definition

What is mediocre ?

is that mediocre is ordinary: not extraordinary; not special, exceptional, or great; of medium quality;

Now this comes down to the simple point of are you looking to live an ordinary life or are you wanting more the most people ?

Now this doesn’t have to necessarily be monetary and here’s what I mean …

Maybe your goal is to help feed children or set up a program that helps save animals and get them into loving homes , but the same principle applies here .  To get that done and to build it you list likely will need to work hard ,  stay focused , and do things most people don’t do .

  • Find a property
  • Get funding
  • Set up a non profit business
  • Hire employees
  • Etc etc .

So you see average vs not average applies to anything .

Maybe your goal is financial independence and you want to buy the mansion the cars and so on .  If this is the case as well you would need to set up your daily actions and habits accordingly.

  • Business or corporate world or both ?
  • Burning the candle at both ends
  • Licensing
  • Etc etc .

Both of the above examples require you to be above average and become an achiever .

5 steps to moving to the next level and shifting your mindset:

  1. Define a clear Vision
  2. Set your mission statement or your why for reaching the goal
  3. Write out your plan – whatever you are doing needs to be done on purpose
  4. Set short term and long term goals
  5. Share your vision to build your core team

One of my favorite movies is million dollar baby with Hilary swank.

The story is about a female who wants to be a boxer , has nothing else in life , and is willing to do whatever it takes to get there .  She’s over the age of MOST boxers who “make it” and is told time and time again “you will never make it” “don’t get started “ “ just give up now “ but this does not stop her and she forgets on .

I’m not going to tell you how it ends but what I want you to get here is 2 main things

  1. Her vision was clear defined and %100 locked in
  2. She took action and kept getting back up in the face of extreme adversity and negativity

So what are you waiting for is the question ?  Is there a project , business , or life change you have been putting off ?  If so ask yourself why ?

Now is the time to get started .

Go through the 5 steps and begin the process.

As you move through the steps above you will discover things you maybe couldn’t see before and your plan will begin to take on a life of its own which will eventually lead to action which will lead to progress !
